“beautiful colour and strong rhubarb, apples and honey flavours”
And said of the Belfast Craft Beer Festival,
“This is the third year we will have attended the Belfast Craft Beer Festival and we are very much looking forward to getting back down to Custom House Square, meeting other local producers and showcasing our products to the consumers. It is always a great few days, packed with tasty beers, ciders, and street food!”
Michelle Shirlow, CEO of Food NI, who are supporting the local producers at the Belfast Craft Beer Festival commented,
“We are delighted to see local cider, beer and gin companies taking part in this event. The brewing and distilling industry in Northern Ireland has grown rapidly in recent years, and has received regional, national and international recognition. We have, of course, a very vibrant cluster of companies producing innovative beverages including over 30 craft breweries. Our cider producers have also won a string of international awards as well as the well-deserved acclaim from cider experts. And our gin, whiskey and vodka producers are also making an impact in markets beyond these shores. Events like this demonstrate that Northern Ireland truly has a world class cluster of local producers and this is an ideal event to Taste the Greatness of Northern Ireland.”
